Managing the Curriculum

Learn how to use the Tree View to visualize, edit, and safely delete components of your educational hierarchy.

Comprehensive Curriculum Management

Your dashboard provides powerful, granular tools to build and oversee your educational hierarchy. You can manage everything visually via the Tree View, or use the dedicated component tabs to build out your curriculum step-by-step.

(Tip: At the top of the dashboard, use the Search & Filter input box to instantly find any specific education component across your entire hierarchy.)

1. The Tree View Tab

The Tree View tab is your visual control center, showing exactly how Groups, Subjects, Chapters, and Topics nest under Education Levels.

  • Expand/Collapse: Use the Expand All and Collapse All buttons to navigate large structures, or click the chevron arrow > to open individual branches.
  • Quick Creation: Click the green + Add Education Level button to start a new main branch. To add nested items directly, click the smaller + group, + subject, + chapter, or + topic buttons on the right side of any row.
  • Editing & Deleting: Click the Actions menu (three dots ...) on any row to Edit or Delete components. The system will automatically warn you if you attempt to delete an item that contains nested dependencies.
