Managing Usage, Plans, and Settings
Keeping track of your platform's limits, upgrading your subscription, and maintaining your personal account security are crucial parts of running your LMS smoothly.
How to get here: Look at your left-hand sidebar menu, scroll down to the Account section, and click on Uses & Plans or Settings.
Part 1: Uses & Plans
The Uses & Plans section is your billing and resource dashboard. It contains three main tabs: Resource Usage, Upgrade Plans, and Payment History.
1. Resource Usage
This tab provides a real-time overview of how much of your current plan's allocation you have consumed.
- Active Plan & Quick Stats: At the top, you'll see a banner indicating your current active subscription plan, alongside quick statistics like Total Students, Active Courses, Total Questions, Storage Used, and Monthly Bandwidth.
- Detailed Usage Bars: Monitor your limits for individual features, including Courses, Videos, Exams, Questions, and Students. The progress bars will show you what is 'used' versus your 'limit' (e.g.,
1 used / 3 limit) and display a health badge like "Good". - Storage & Bandwidth: Track your file storage (in MB/GB) and monthly bandwidth consumption to ensure you don't hit your caps.
- Platform Free Resources: This section shows free monthly allocations provided by the platform (e.g., Platform Emails, Platform SMS, and Platform AI Tokens). If you are running low, you can click the quick-links to configure your own third-party integrations.
2. Upgrade Plans
When you are ready to scale your educational business, you can upgrade your subscription here.
- Monthly vs. Yearly: Use the toggle at the top to switch between Monthly and Yearly billing. Yearly billing often includes a built-in discount (e.g., "Save up to 17%").
- Choosing a Tier: Review the available tiers (Free, Starter, Professional, Enterprise). Each tier clearly lists its specific limits for Courses, Videos, Exams, Questions, Students, Storage, and Bandwidth, along with premium features like Custom Domains and White Labeling.
- Checkout Process:
- Click the Upgrade button under your desired plan.
- A "Complete Your Purchase" modal will appear.
- Choose between Secure checkout or Instant activation.
- Select your preferred Payment Method. Options typically include International gateways (like Stripe for Credit/Debit Cards) or local Bangladesh gateways (like SSLCommerz, bKash, and Nagad).
- Follow the on-screen prompts from your chosen gateway to complete the transaction.
3. Payment History
This tab maintains a ledger of your financial transactions with the platform.
- Click the Payment History tab to view past invoices, transaction statuses, and receipts for your subscription upgrades or renewals.
Part 2: Account Settings
The Settings page allows you to manage your personal administrator profile and security credentials.
1. Profile Information
Keep your personal and contact details up to date.
- Update your Full Name, Email, and Mobile Number.
- Add a short Bio to describe yourself or your role.
- Click the Update Profile button to save any changes.
2. Security
Protect your admin account by updating your password regularly.
- Enter your Current Password to verify your identity.
- Enter your New Password, and type it again in the Confirm New Password field to ensure there are no typos.
- Click the Change Password button to secure your account.
3. Account Information
This is a read-only section displaying your backend system details.
- User ID: Your unique alphanumeric identifier in the database.
- Role: Your current permission level (e.g., ADMIN).
- Account Created & Last Updated: Timestamps showing when your profile was created and when it was last modified.
