A page can be perfectly built and still invisible to students — publishing is a separate, deliberate step. This page covers publishing, backups, and a Templates button that only appears on certain pages.
Two Ways to Publish
Page Settings — click Settings in the toolbar to open Page Settings, showing the page's Slug and a Published checkbox. Tick it and click Save Changes; leave it unticked and the page stays a Draft, invisible on your live site.
Draft — Publish now — a second, faster path. Whenever the page you're editing is a Draft, a red button appears directly in the toolbar reading exactly that. Click it and the page publishes immediately, without opening Settings at all.
The red button only appears while the page is unpublished. Once published, it disappears — the only way back to a full publish/unpublish toggle at that point is the Published checkbox in Page Settings.
Templates — System Pages Only
Templates appears in the toolbar for system and template pages — such as the product-detail page in the screenshot — and is absent on ordinary custom pages you create yourself.
Click it to open Page templates, a set of pre-built layouts for that specific page type. Rather than building a product page or course page from scratch, choose a template close to what you want and adjust it from there.
This button's presence is itself informative. If you don't see Templates in the toolbar, you are editing a custom page, not a system or template page — the two have different editing tools available because they serve different purposes on the platform.

Backups — the Three-Dot Menu
Next to the main toolbar buttons sits a three-dot (⋮) menu with:
- Restore Defaults — resets the page.
- Export as JSON — downloads the entire page layout as a file. This is your backup.
- Import from JSON — uploads a previously exported file to rebuild a page instantly.
- Clear All Sections — wipes the canvas to start over.
Export a page as JSON before a major redesign. If the new layout goes wrong, Import from JSON puts the old one back exactly, section by section — far faster than rebuilding by hand.
Troubleshooting
