Creating OMR Templates
Before you can scan or process any physical answer sheets, you must first create a digital template that defines the structure of your OMR sheet (e.g., number of questions, options, paper size). This template will generate a PDF that you can print and distribute to students.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Go to the left sidebar and click on OMR Templates.

Step 2: Click the Create New Template button at the top right of the page.

Step 3: You will be taken to the Template Editor. Configure your template properties:
- Total Questions: Define exactly how many questions will appear on the sheet.
- Options Per Question: Set the number of choices (e.g., 4 for A, B, C, D).
- Paper Size: Select the target print size (e.g., A4).
- Language: Set the primary language for the instructions on the sheet.

Step 4: Once configured, save the template. The system will automatically generate the layout including the necessary corner markers (fiducials) required for the AI scanner.
Step 5: From the templates list, click the Preview (Eye icon) button on your new template to view the final layout. From the preview screen, you can download the PDF to print the physical copies.
